Esnatech, a provider of cloud-based Unified Communications (News - Alert) and Collaboration (UC&C) applications, announced its expansion into mobility, presence and messaging applications.

As part of this expansion, Esnatech entered into an agreement with Fuse Networks, a service provider. The partnership enables Esnatech to offer cloud-based UC&C solutions in the U.S. and Canada.

The focus of the alliance is to offer enterprises with a UC&C migration path from their legacy voice platform to a cloud-based solution. Organizations will gain from major ROI, while they can reduce total cost of ownership on UC technology.

“Cloud communications and collaborations are growing quicker than most have anticipated,” said Davide Petramala, VP of sales and marketing at Esnatech, in a statement. “Partnering with companies such as Fuse Networks accelerates our vision–to deliver integrated cloud-based communication and collaboration applications with a zero footprint infrastructure platform.”

Fuse Networks will also be offering Esnatech's line of UC&C applications along with its hosted Mitel (News - Alert), and hosted PrairieFyre call center with its on-demand private cloud solutions. Organizations can leverage Fuse Networks solutions to look for the desired features, without making physical investment.

Cloud solutions – Mitel practice and integrated Esnatech UC services – will meet organization's budget and time frame. Fuse offers scalable architecture, enhancing client's existing Zimbra (News - Alert), MS BPOS or Google Apps services. Fuse Networks will extend Esnatech Office-LinX applications to their Microsoft and Mitel customers throughout North America, company officials said.

“Our customers have expressed a need for unified communications, but do not wish to make large capital investments in VoIP and messaging upgrades,” said Russ Johnson, president of Fuse Networks, in a statement. “They would rather purchase hosted technology as a monthly operating expense. Our partnership enables us to meet their needs and scale efficiently as they grow.”

In December 2010, Esnatech announced Technology Marketing Corporation  named Office-LinX as a recipient of its 2010 Unified Communications Excellence Award. The recognition is for its commitment to excellence while providing solutions in the UC marketplace.
