Unified Communications: LiveOffice Names Jeffrey Hausman as COO

Storage industry veteran Jeffrey W. Hausman has joined LiveOffice as chief operating officer.

An industry veteran, Hausman has 10 years of experience in product development, cloud storage and software-as-a-service at several top technology firms. In his new role and in an effort to help expand the company, Hausman will be in charge of managing network operations, client services, and business and employee operations.

Hausman joins LiveOffice from HP, where he most recently led the HP StorageWorks Nearline organization, delivering the StoreOnce de-duplication solutions and comprehensive disk- and tape-based data protection offerings.

“Jeff’s wealth of experience in delivering quality products and services, in addition to his specific expertise in storage, archiving and SaaS, will be a major asset to LiveOffice,” said Nick Mehta, CEO of LiveOffice, in a statement.

“We are thrilled to add him to our executive team and have no doubt his expertise will help accelerate our growth in the global enterprise space,” said Mehta.

LiveOffice is a provider of cloud-based e-mail archiving, e-mail compliance, e-mail discovery and e-mail continuity solutions.

Earlier in February, LiveOffice announced that American Portfolios Financial Services (APFS) implemented LiveOffice AdvisorMail, LiveOffice Discovery Archive and LiveOffice Personal Archive across its 300-plus branches.

A top 50 independent broker-dealer, American Portfolios supports hundreds of registered representatives and supervising principals across the country. When managing and supervising e-mail became increasingly difficult, the firm’s president and CIO, Lon Dolber, began looking for a cloud-based solution.
