Vitrue Announces Growth Statistics of Social Networking Services

Vitrue, a social media management software provider, has had a great 2010. According to Vitrue’s growth statistics for end of fourth quarter 2010, the company has recorded record-breaking revenues, client expansion and internal staff growth.


Going by the executives of the company, the rapid adoption of Virte’s software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)) platform has really driven its growth, making quarter four the company's best quarter to date.  

The Vitrue SRM software, which allows brands and agencies to communicate with fans across social networks, is currently managing more than 487 million fans in 47 countries across 2,500 Facebook (News - Alert) and Twitter accounts, emerging social media avenues and mobile applications.

In 2010 fourth quarter, Vitrue added more than 100 new clients, including brands Intel, Yahoo!, YouTube (News - Alert), Frito Lay and Planet Hollywood, to name a few. Vitrue's stable of clients include McDonald's, P&G brands, Ford, Chanel, JCPenney, Disney, Baskin Robbins, Best Buy, Domino's Pizza and AT&T (News - Alert).  Vitrue reports the largest client and revenue growth across the technology, CPG and restaurant verticals.

In the recent past, Vitrue has been at the center of various activities. It completed its $17 million funding and appointed former Facebook executive Mike Murphy to the newly created position of special advisor to the CEO.  

"It has certainly been an exciting past couple of weeks for Vitrue, from our funding to Mike Murphy joining and now posting our best quarter across all categories to date," said Reggie Bradford, CEO of Vitrue, in a press release. "Cleary our growth tells us that a SaaS-based approach, coupled with impeccable and strategic service, is what the industry is adopting. We are bullish on our continued growth as we position the company for a tremendous international expansion."

The Platform is managing more than 2,500 Facebook Pages and Twitter accounts in 47 countries. It has than 487 million fans/followers, representing a 73 percent increase in the growth from the third quarter.

Moderating almost 3 million posts; 26.5 million likes; 13 million comments; 11.7 million plays; 11.4 million shares; and 147 million clicks  were generated. The platform has created more than 135,000 posts and more than 2,500 polls and coupons, generating 1 million votes and prints.
