Avaya, a provider of enterprise communications systems, has emphasized its support for unified communications partner HP, as it was a key partner and gold sponsor at the HP Instant-On conference that was held on March 6th, 2011 at the Al Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh.

The company offers unified communications, contact centers, data solutions and related services to its customers in direct manner and through its channel partners as well. It fulfills the communications related needs of enterprises for providing enhanced efficiency, collaboration, customer service and competitiveness to them.

Both Avaya and HP have been including some of Avaya’s Unified Communications (News - Alert) and Contact Center products within the HP Unified Communications and Collaboration or services portfolio for enterprises. It will enable their clients in enhancing their existing communication architectures and optimizing unified communications for multi-vendor interoperability.

“This year is a crucial time for businesses in the region; the economic crisis has changed the way organizations view their IT investments and they now have to deal with their budgets more creatively,” commented Fadi Hani, managing director for Saudi Arabia at Avaya (News - Alert). “We aim to address our technology leaders and bring to light the critical elements which will make the change more adaptable and profitable for their business. We shared insights and approaches to optimize use of technology to turn their organizations into a more inventive, more responsive and productive place. Through our global alliance with HP we are able to deliver extraordinary benefits to customers, especially when combined with HP’s consulting and IT outsourcing expertise. The relationship enables customers to take out costs and transform their business via the strategic application of communications tools and services in the procurement and management model that best suits a company’s objectives.”

Recently, Avaya announced an array of application development partners driving new and innovative capabilities for Avaya IP Office, the company's flagship communications solution for small and medium-sized enterprises. These partners are part of company’s DevConnect (News - Alert) program, an initiative to promote the creation of a new generation of solutions complementary to unified communications by integrating products, services and technologies with Avaya solutions.
