Glimmerglass Makes Presentations At ISS WORLD MEA 2011

Best practices for optical signal access and monitoring will be presented by Jeff Zindel, the vice president of marketing at Glimmerglass Networks, at ISS WORLD MEA 2011. Another speaker from Glimmerglass at ISS World will be the company’s vice president of sales for EMEA, Bernd Schilp. An announcement in this regard has been made by the top supplier of intelligent optical signal management solutions, Glimmerglass Networks. ISS World MEA will be held in Dubai, UAE from Feb. 21-23, 2011 at the JW Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.


Zindel will speak on The Evolving Service Provider Landscape and Its Impact on Managing Network Intercepts on Monday, Feb. 21 at 11:00 am. During the Track 1 program on Tuesday, Feb. 22, Mr. Zindel will participate in the Guru Panel covering Lawful Interception for New IP Services “Best Practices”. On the same day at 1:30 pm, Zindel will also speak on Cost Effective, Flexible Optical Signal Access and Monitoring Solutions. During Track 7 at 11:00am on Wednesday, Feb. 23, Schilp will speak on Cost Effective, Flexible Optical Signal Access and Monitoring Solutions.

In a release Zindel said, “We look forward to sharing lessons learned and best practices gleaned from working with intelligence agencies and communications service providers around the world using Glimmerglass Intelligent Optical Systems for cost-effective access, distribution and monitoring of optical signals.”

Zindel added that organizations are able to meet their growing network monitoring and lawful interception demands with Glimmerglass Networks. This is done by incorporating the latest advances in optical signal management. Optical networks can be therefore remotely access and monitored seamlessly.

Middle East and African Law Enforcement, Intelligence and Homeland Security Analysts and Telecom Operators come together at the world’s largest gathering, ISS World MEA. They are responsible for lawful interception, electronic investigations and network intelligence gathering. The methodologies and tools to bridge the chasms from lawful intercept data gathering to information creation to investigator knowledge to actionable intelligence are provided by ISS World Programs.
