Jinny Software Signs New Deal for Messaging Solutions with EastLink
Jinny Software claimed its next-generation messaging solutions are designed to open standards and have been tested in commercial deployments around the world. The company’s architecture provides the flexibility, features and framework components to help operators evolve their service portfolio to include richer and more interactive messaging services, as stated in the release.
EastLink asserted it offers a service that blends cable, Internet and telephone and it will deploy Jinny’s solutions into a new mobile service offering that is currently under development. The Jinny SMSC, MMSC, WAP Gateway, Multimedia Permanent Storage Server, MMS Studio Module and Message Router are the solutions EastLink will be installing its new service. The Jinny Operations and Maintenance Console will help EastLink manage all these new solutions.
Jinny SMSC enables mobile operators to prepare for the upcoming next generation of mobile messaging services and technologies. The MMSC runs on mobile networks including GSM, CDMA, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSPA. The Jinny SMS Router maximizes profitability of SMS as a network service. The Jinny’s distributed componentized architecture runs the company’s server that offers operators with a complete suite of enablers and turnkey applications to launch innovative services and begin monetizing their network’s capabilities to the full.
“Jinny delivers solutions that empower operators to seize new opportunities, and this is reflected in this latest deal” Fintan Supple, regional sales director at Jinny, said. “We are delighted to be working with EastLink and look forward to helping them build a successful and market-leading mobile service in the coming year.”
Officials with EastLink asserted that customers have come to expect innovative service offerings from EastLink and by partnering with Jinny, their new mobile offering will continue this customer commitment.
