Mitel, a leading provider of unified communications software solutions has awarded Broadview Networks (News - Alert), a New York-based business communications service provider, the Platinum Plus as part of its 2010 sales “PARTNERprogram.”

The Mitel PARTNER awards program recognized outstanding business performance and sales success with the company during Mitel’s (News - Alert) Fiscal Year 2010.

“Mitel’s Platinum Plus award is an acknowledgement of the continued success of our OfficeSuite hosted IP voice solution,” said Brian Crotty, Broadview Networks’ chief operating officer, in a statement. “Our success with Mitel, however, begins and ends with a great partner whose innovative products allow us to modify and enhance OfficeSuite’s patented codebase to meet each customer’s demands and requirements, making for a highly flexible platform,” Crotty added.

“Our goal is to establish relationships with the best channel partners in the industry through the Mitel PARTNERprogram,” said Philip Keenan, Mitel’s vice president of U.S. partner business, in a press release. “Broadview’s success can be attributed to its dedication and commitment to help its customers move toward communications solutions that improve business performance, help gain competitive advantage, and reduce costs.”

Broadview’s flagship hosted IP phone solution, OfficeSuite provides businesses with everything an organization needs to communicate over the phone and online, typically with no capital investment. The solution comprises a complete “cloud-based” hosted phone system including phones, more than 40 calling features, an intuitive and simple-to-use Web portal to manage the service, and a robust calling plan that users at a given site share. Businesses also can easily add Broadview’s FrontLine MPLS service to securely connect locations in a fully meshed and QoS-enabled data network.

The recent successes Broadview has had include:

  • Information Week 500 Top Technology Innovator
