Avaya SCS Investment Protection Program Delivered by eZuce

Due to increased customer demand, the Avaya Software Communication System Investment Protection Program has been extended by eZuce, Inc., into 2011. SCS (News - Alert) customers will be able to upgrade to an open UC platform from the existing IP PBX system with eZuce.


The ongoing commitment from eZuce to a forward migration strategy is one of the primary drivers for the increased demand. The long-term product roadmap for Avaya (News - Alert) SCS customers has been the other primary driver. Authorized eZuce EZ Elite partners who are currently enrolled in the eZuce Partner Program can provide this program.

In a release, John Wrona, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Ronco Communications and Electronics, said, “eZuce has provided our SCS customers with a solution that allows them to take advantage of new and improved unified communications technology that fosters social business and open collaboration between users. Ronco is excited to partner with eZuce and offer this program as a catalyst for future upgrades and managed services.”

Avaya SCS customers will receive enhanced product quality, stability and functionality with eZuce openUCTM. This complete solution for enterprise communications includes voice, video, instant messaging, presence, conferencing, collaboration, unified messaging, call center, and mobility. The strong roadmap of the solution also provides protection coverage to Avaya SCS customers for all their investments in hardware.

SCS customers who participate in this program will be entitled to a one-for-one swap of Avaya SCS license for eZuce openUCTM enterprise perpetual license. The customers will also be able to swap Avaya PASS support contract for an eZuce equivalent support service for the remainder of the current Avaya PASS term.

Certified eZuce partners will also directly provide Level 1 and 2 technical support to Avaya SCS customers. Professional services will also be provided by eZuce partners. Avaya SCS customers will be able to maximize their IT investments with eZuce openUCTM.
