As a leading provider of ultra-low latency networking, network design, and managed services, CFN Services teamed up with Essex Radez as its North American market data partner. Through its Velcitick subsidiary, Essex Radez delivers all North American exchange feeds and allows its clients to co-locate any number of servers in any of its five data centers such as Equinix (News - Alert) Secaucus, Savvis Weehawken, NASDAQ Carteret, Equinix Chicago, and CBOE Chicago.


Essex Radez also deploys a private network to provide execution connectivity to all major trading venues.

To provide unified global communication and co-location infrastructure within an ecosystem of high frequency traders leveraging the CFN Low Latency Global Financial Exchange Platform, CFN created an alliance with Radez. To maintain vendor neutrality, the CFN based ecosystem provides market data and exchange connectivity while it’s partnering technology firm offers hosted access to ticker plants, order and risk management systems, historical data, and related services.

In a press release, Sebastian Yoon, vice president of Financial Network Services at CFN, said, “Our mission is to provide our clients with the nucleus they need to implement their trading strategies. This nucleus consists of market data, execution connectivity, and a global complex of co-location facilities joined together on our network. The Essex Radez Velocitick service compliments our efforts and fits perfectly with our mission.”

Yoon added that CFN was looking forward to working with the Radez team, thereby partnering with technology providers to offer their clients the best of the system available with multiple choice options.

In a statement, Mike Eichin, director of operations for Essex Radez, said, “The alliance with CFN has provided our clients with the immediate benefit that comes from increased capacity and reduced latency on key network segments. We look forward to working with CFN in offering our clients access to, and support in, markets outside North America.”
