Karel and eZuce Deliver Advanced Unified Communication Solution

With advancement of technology in telecommunications and computers industry, unified messaging has become very popular. Karel Electronics signed an OEM agreement to license eZuce’s openUC software and build integrated unified communications solutions for worldwide enterprise markets.

According to the press release, the agreement grants Karel rights to license eZuce’s openUC software for inclusion in its upcoming unified communications (UC) solutions, fully-integrated along with its own branded PBXs, phones, servers, and media gateways. Karel will market its UC solutions worldwide under its own brand. Additionally Karel will have exclusive licensing and reseller rights to openUC within the Turkish marketplace.

eZuce is the first provider of open source based unified communications challenging the status quo in the enterprise communications. eZuce’s openUC delivers a fully functional and interoperable enterprise communications solution integrating voice, video, instant messaging, presence, conferencing, collaboration, unified messaging, and mobility capabilities implemented in native SIP to provide an improved user experience.

In a press release, Osman Duman, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Karel, said that this collaboration with eZuce will enable Karel to offer its existing clients a smooth path for crossing the chasm to unified communications while protecting their investment in legacy PBXs.

Unified Communications will in turn help our clients blend and integrate communications to their business and customer relationship management processes, resulting in higher customer satisfaction and business volume.
