Arian Financial Picks Orange Business Services-Trading Solutions' Open Trade

Orange Business Services-Trading Solutions revealed that U.K. based inter-dealer broker Arian Financial selected its Open Trade as their trading communications platform of choice.

A touch screen, multimedia, smart turret, Open Trade integrates voice, video, e-mail, instant messaging and Web-based applications into one communications device.

Richard Petti, managing director for U.K. and Ireland at Orange (News - Alert) Business Services, Trading Solutions, said that Arian Financial have embraced the advanced functionality of Open Trade recognising that the future of trading begins here.

Recently, Arian Financial deployed Open Trade at its U.K. headquarters. Company officials said that they chose to take advantage of the turret’s compactness which has saved the firm as much as 50 per cent desk real estate.

Since Arian’s business is led by voice communication, the platform’s superior sound quality was also a key selling point. Company officials said that Open Trade’s sleek design, colour coding and ease of use also attracted Arian Financial to the platform.

“Upgrading our technology to Open Trade was a must for us, it’s simple to understand, manage and was easy to deploy. The desk space saved has been immense and the sound quality has made a huge amount of difference to our brokers,” said John Meadows, senior partner at Arian Financial, in a press release.

Meadows said that Open Trade is the future of trading technology and incorporates all the different applications a modern trader needs with efficiency.

Last month, Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions announced the launch of Open Trade in Japan. Developed as a personal trading assistant, Open Trade is a touch screen multimedia, communications system available in Japanese.
