Application development, integration services, and testing company tekVizion (News - Alert) recently announced it once again has achieved Microsoft Gold Communications Competency. This is the third time the company, which has offered independent test services related to Microsoft (News - Alert) UC solutions since 2008, has attained Microsoft Gold Communications Competency.
An Oct. 23 press release issued by tekVizion explains that acquiring and retaining Microsoft Gold Communications Competency involved it proving its expertise by having its employees succeed on exams and then designating those individuals to one Microsoft competency in an effort it says ensures “a certain level of staffing capacity.” Companies are also required to submit references from customers in which they have been involved in successful engagements, to do annual satisfaction surveys, to meet specific revenue commitments, and to pass sales and/or technology assessments.
Speaking of Microsoft and UC, the company was at ITEXPO earlier this month talking about what it’s doing with Skype for Business, the business UC offering formerly know as Lync.
As for tekVizion, it provides certification and qualification testing of VoIP and unified communications products and applications, and managed IP PBX (News - Alert) interoperability testing. The company also offers SIP trunk turn-up services and cloud testing. Ninety-five percent of unified communications market leaders use tekVizion solutions, according to the company’s website.
In addition to its relationship Microsoft, tekVizion addresses BroadSoft, Cisco (News - Alert), Epygi, GENBAND, Grandstream Networks, Interactive Intelligence, Mitel, NEC, Skype Connect, and ShoreTel solutions. IP PBX and gateway company Epygi, and IP voice and video solutions provider Grandstream Networks, announced their relationships with tekVizion just last month.
“It is imperative to us that the products and solutions we bring to the market are easily deployed and compatible with third-party service providers and software vendors,” said Grandstream CEO David Li (News - Alert). “Our partnership with tekVizion will allow our partners, integrators and resellers to be fully confident when deploying our solutions.”
