Genesys, Consilium to Offer Contact Center Solutions in India, Southeast Asia

Genesys (News - Alert) Telecommunications Laboratories and Consilium Software announced a new partnership today that’s designed to deliver contact center and enterprise solutions to customers in India and southeast Asia.

 
The partnership primarily focuses on increasing sales coverage for Genesys solutions in the region, said officials from both companies.
 
Under the agreement, Consilium Software would resell the entire suite of Genesys solutions and provide implementation support to mutual customers, company officials say. Also, the two companies say they’d jointly provide their services to customers and develop best practices to deliver high-quality service, improved communication and flow of business processes across the enterprise.
 
Genesys says its contact center software suite enables contact centers to manage their workforce by effectively integrating the customer interaction with the business resources and help them meet the business goals with the help of its efficient analytic and reporting tools.
 
Genesys says its Enterprise Telephony Software is a telephony engine created for providing a total collaboration experience to the enterprises. The GETS platform provides telephony experience and call control capabilities for Microsoft (News - Alert) Office Live Communications Server (LCS) 2005 and the latest Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 on more than 100 switch platforms, letting enterprises defer capital expenditure on advanced telephone networks, according to the company. This integrated technology enables enterprises to build a complete full-featured collaboration on their existing telephony infrastructure, company officials say.
 
“Genesys’ contact center software and its GETS offering for enterprise collaboration are powerful solutions uniquely positioned to enhance heterogeneous environments, delivering unified customer service for enterprises,” said Pramod Ratwani, founder and chief executive officer of Consilium Software.
 
“This strategic alliance expands both companies’ ability to reach more customers in the Asia-Pacific region, while delivering unique solutions that optimize customer service and improve business efficiency within enterprises,” said Michael McBrien, a senior vice president of Genesys.
