DeviceAnywhere Witnesses the Growth of Enterprise Mobility

By Juliana Kenny, TMCnet Web Editor

DeviceAnywhere (News - Alert) provides test and quality solutions for the mobile space giving mobile application developers the ability to test their products before making them live. The company has expounded upon the explosive mobile application industry that just keeps getting bigger.

TMC’s (News - Alert) CEO, Rich Tehrani had the chance to sit down with Farez Syed, CEO and founder of DeviceAnywhere to discuss what market trends he has witnessed over the past year and how his company plans to meet the growing needs of the mobile industry.

“The majority of mainstream enterprises are now embarking on mobility,” stated Syed. DeviceAnywhere “provides test and quality solutions for the mobile space. Every time you build an application for the mobile space you need to test it. We traditionally support all kinds of mobile applications.” He went on to remark about recent trends when he commented “this year, we’re seeing a lot of traction in the enterprise mobility space.”

As the trend of smartphone adoption into the enterprise continues to grow rapidly, companies such as DeviceAnywhere must continue to innovatively produce solutions to meet the need of industry’s players. Syed said that “within smartphones are several other trends—we have been producing a metric report and are able to produce actual data of what people are doing.” DeviceAnywhere’s report notes that the Blackberry remains the number one device still tested over any other device with the Droid pulling in this year at number three.

Syed anticipates that “more consumer electronic items will become application ecosystems” where DeviceAnywhere can step in and provide the quality management aspect of these applications.
