ISBX announced the launch of a cross-platform mobile development solution suitable for brands and businesses which are desirous of investing in the fast growing mobile application market.
The Los Angeles-based company developed the Avenue Mobile platform which is a proprietary framework for deploying applications with several features suitable for any mobile platform including the iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Android and Symbian (News - Alert) cost effectively.
ISBX specializes in producing entertainment apps, survey tools and content portal type apps across multiple platforms for clients including NBC Universal (News - Alert), Warner Brothers, CW Networks and Sony Pictures.
Eric Wise, president of ISBX said, “The reality of today’s mobile landscape and especially moving into the future is that there are a large number of mobile platforms and developing for only one means you’re ignoring a large number of potential customers.”
“In addition, one huge untapped area for development is mobile applications for businesses. Giving executives and employees information and control at their fingertips with a mobile application is going to be a game changer,” Wise added.
According to company sources Wise is well experienced in interactive marketing and development and he will work with partner Kelly Chu, who has expertise in the development and management of information technology and services. Chu serves as Chief Technology Officer and he served previously as Director of Technology at BIG Interactive. He established initiatives like the BIG Mobile Messaging Platform and Mobile Content Management System.
Chu explained that ISBX has developed the Avenue Mobile platform with a modular approach to introduce true cross-platform functionality at the same time retaining architecture that is native to each device, besides minimizing any performance and functionality issues. This enables working closely with clients for the creation of unique feature rich mobile apps across all platforms that can be launched cost effectively.
Arthur Iinuma, ISBX’s Chief Operating Officer added that ISBX is striving to specialize in the development of mobile application technologies. To this end the company is continually refining and improving business processes and also proactively trying to change according to the market.
Iinuma is a veteran in the areas of overseas and offshore business, growth strategy and capital finance. He managed investments at Morgan Stanley, and also served UBS Private Bank where he was Vice President of Investments.
