WorkSnug Pro, the latest version of WorkSnug's free iPhone app was launched by WorkSnug and Plantronics (News - Alert). The app is useful to the more than one billion mobile professionals as it helps locate the best places in major cities to work efficiently and comfortably. WorkSnug Pro, already available in Barcelona and London will now include workspace information for San Francisco and New York City. 

As a smarter work initiative to help mobile professionals to work comfortably and efficiently from anywhere, Plantronics has partnered with WorkSnug The app will also feature the new Plantronics Decibel Meter to accurately measure and report noise levels by uploading information to WorkSnug in real-time. This will enable other WorkSnug users to pick an ideal location that best meets their noise preference.

Users can hold up their iPhone (News - Alert) and view surroundings with augmented reality with the WorkSnug Pro. The app also throws up information as pop-up about the nearest potential workspaces like cafes, libraries, formal co-working spaces and Wi-Fi hotspots. Details on Internet connectivity, community feel, noise level, and even quality and availability of coffee is provided by WorkSnug Pro along with workspace reviews. With the application users can also post their own workspace finds and ratings.

Hundreds of workspaces locations have been reviewed by a Community of Mobile Workers WorkSnug for the launch of WorkSnug Pro. Users of the iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch have the WorkSnug Pro available in iTunes, while the augmented reality function is available only for iPhone 3GS.
