PriceGrabber.com, a part of Experian, has announced the launch of its new Apple (News - Alert) iPad application. This app has been designed especially for the iPad and is expected to assist shoppers in searching, finding and buying millions of products in over 25 categories.

The iPad application will help purchasers looking for gifts via its PriceGrabber.com gift suggestion tool. By the simple tap of a finger a shopper will be able to receive gift suggestions with specifications which are classified based on price and category, said company sources.
Barbary Brunner, PriceGrabber.com's chief marketing officer added that the iPad shopping app is a PriceGrabber.com tool which will help users become very well-informed and satisfied, smart shoppers. This app allows consumers to buy millions of products from thousands of merchants on the actual device itself. Also consumers can calculate BottomLine Prices using iPad location services or by entering their postal code, noted Brunner.
The new iPad app also provides enlarged product images, full product and expert reviews besides providing favorite lists.
PriceGrabber.com, is an online shopping site with more than 23 million unique shoppers per month. Shoppers will be able to find and compare millions of unique products and services across 25 categories with more than 11,000 merchants.
Products can be compared side by side to find the right retailers at the best prices within popular categories. The list of products include Digital Cameras, Electronics, Computers, Clothing, Books, TVs and many others, said company sources.
