Camrivox Ltd, a provider of telephony and customer relationship management solutions, recently announced that it has acquired funding to develop its Flexor Unified Communications (UC) platform. The developed platform will be able to support mobile telephony.
The new solution will allow both fixed and mobile UC; this will facilitate an integrated communications channel for many communications products such as desk phones, PC soft phones, mobile phones and personal digital assistants (PDAs). This versatility is expected to enable better customer communications.
Camrivox has tried to improve the field of computer telephony integration by circumventing expensive servers and IT infrastructure and taking CTI (News - Alert) directly to the desktop. The company expects its UC developer to provide presence, analytics and call management services to consumers using different devices and applications.
A small and medium sized businesses (SMB) section is required to optimize their customer relations, decrease operating costs and cur down on capital outlay. The Flexor UC will permit the SMB sector to enter into bigger circles in terms of market competition as it estimated to be able to supply full-feature UC for every device.
The Flexor UC will also be capable of conducting a smooth integration of UC with their Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) CRM solutions, while eliminating the need for expensive IT infrastructure upgrades.
"The Flexor UC platform harnesses the power of software to streamline how a mobile workforce communicates and opens up new possibilities," explains Jonathan Custance, chief technical officer for Camrivox.
"It's very satisfying to accelerate the roll-out of our applications on the Camrivox (News - Alert) technology roadmap because this enables our PBX, OEM, and ITSP partners to immediately start offering greater flexibility and real performance improvements to business users," Custance added.
The Flexor UC platform from Camrivox will also be cost effective in that it is expected to create cost savings of 80 percent. Unlike the private branch exchange (PBX (News - Alert)) routes, the Flexor UC platform is estimated to be able to make UC very accessible to other companies and enterprises.
The Flexor UC platform will assist these companies to gain without utilizing initial capital outlay; the solution will also help in boosting Return On Investment (ROI) for software applications like Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, NetSuite (News - Alert) and Dynamics CRM.
