This new mobile location-based services and resource management application suite is supported by software from Xora, global innovator in the rapidly expanding Mobile Resource Management (MRM) market.
With the addition of Cbeyond (News - Alert) Mobile Workforce Manager, companies with field service operations will gain increased revenue opportunities and reduced operating costs.
Because the service is hosted on Cbeyond's network, small businesses do not need to invest in any software or IT infrastructure to use Cbeyond Mobile Workforce Manager. All they have to do is purchase a smartphone and mobile data plan from Cbeyond and download the application wirelessly.
Once they load the application, Cbeyond customers will gain instant access to the location of their mobile employees, proviging them with instant savings with reduced payroll and overtime costs, fewer fleet miles, and increased mobile employee productivity. According to the company, savings can reach an estimated $1,500 per mobile employee, per year.

The application also automates payroll by providing an easy-to-use and tamper-proof method of collecting employee timecards. Cbeyond Mobile Workforce Manager is also eco-friendly as it eliminates inefficient paper-based processes and saves energy by avoiding manual data entry by integrating with back-office systems, like QuickBooks.
