Agito Networks, Inc., a provider of innovative solutions in enterprise mobility, announced that Lead411  has named it as a recipient of Lead411's "Hottest Silicon Valley Companies" Awards.

The information gathered each day by the Lead411 research team through more than 600 press releases and business articles, company launches, customer press releases, and more, is used to determine which companies are the fastest growing companies in the U.S.

Lead411's "Hottest Companies" awards have been created for recognizing these fast growing companies in different geographic regions, and in the categories like, software, Wireless, Internet, and Media industries.

"We have been tracking fast companies for the past 10 years for our growing customer base, which includes Gartner, Administaff and ADP," stated Tom Blue, CEO of Lead411.

"We felt it was important to recognize these growing brands publicly – specifically in the Bay Area.  We congratulate Agito Networks (News - Alert) on achieving this honor," Blue added.

In the process of how the winners are chosen, first, all companies must by in either the Software, Wireless, Internet, or Media industry, have less than $100M in yearly revenues, and be within Silicon Valley area. From there, each company must meet one or more of the following requirements; 100 percent increase in revenues over the past 3 years; OR $15M+ in funding in the past 2 years; OR 2X (News - Alert) traffic gains to their website in the past 12 months AND over 1M unique visitors a month.

Agito Networks product, the RoamAnywhere Mobility Router extends Unified Communications, PBX and deskphone features to mobile phones, while providing handover between WiFi (News - Alert), 3G and cellular networks.  By extending the Agito RoamAnywhere architecture built for network abstraction to 3G, mobile costs are reduced beyond leveraging just WiFi – which other solutions are limited to – while also improving in-building coverage.

"Agito continues to expand into new markets, and aggressively grow its customer base and partnerships," explains Amit Chawla, Agito Networks CEO. "Agito has experienced unprecedented traction with its RoamAnywhere solution on the Blackberry, iPhone (News - Alert) and iPod touch platforms from Tier 1 enterprises across key vertical markets, including financial, hospitality and manufacturing.  We attribute our growth and new market expansion during this tough economic time to Agito's unique ability to deliver a robust mobile UC and voice solution with unmatched cost-savings benefits, security, scalability, and support for the industry's broadest range of BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows Mobile (OS) and Nokia (News - Alert) handsets."
