By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

Indonesia-based Jatis Mobile reportedly has deployed Critical Path‘s Mobile E-mail solution for prominent Indonesian telecommunications operators, reaching an audience of over 100 million mobile subscribers.

A content provider and reseller of the Critical Path (News - Alert) solutions, Jatis Mobile is one of the prominent information technology consultants and application development companies in Indonesia. The company is part of Jatis Group.

The company believes that Critical Path’s Mobile E-mail solution will strengthen its position in Indonesia. “We see Critical Path’s solution as the perfect fit for our market,” said Ferrij Lumoring, chief technology officer at Jatis Mobile.

“Designed specifically for consumers, Critical Path’s Mobile E-mail enables us to deliver the innovative services and features that subscribers’ demand at a price they can afford,” he added.

Working with standards-based email services, Critical Path’s Mobile E-mail enables subscribers to mobilize one or more of their existing email accounts as well as send and receive multimedia content on their phones.

Desra Ghazfan, director at Critical Path, said that the company is seeing an increasing demand for converged services in countries such as Indonesia. And, he added that since it is often more affordable to own a mobile phone instead of a computer in some areas, mobile services are vital to consumers for communications.

“Critical Path’s Mobile E-mail solution provides an easy and affordable solution, giving mobile email access to all users,” said Ghazfan.

Critical Path’s Memova suite of applications and services are selected by service providers and enterprises around the world to enable millions of people to communicate, connect, share and organize.

Earlier this month, Hutchison CAT Wireless MultiMedia, a joint venture company of CAT Telecom and Hutchison Telecommunications International (News - Alert), adopted Critical Path’s mobile e-mail solution for its subscribers.
