VXi Corporation Revolutionizes Unified Communications with the UC ProSet LUX™

DOVER, N.H. --(Business Wire)--

VXi Corporation (www.VXiCorp.com) redefined comfort and style in 2012 with the launch of the UC ProSet™ corded headset. Now, after months of rave reviews, VXi has incorporated unique interactive features into its trusted design to create its most user efficient product yet, the UC ProSet LUX™.

By using patent pending LED telepresence indication, the new UC ProSet LUX notifies others of the user's availability visually with an illuminated status indicator located on the microphone. Unlike any other headset on the market, when used in Unified Communications (UC) applications, the LED presence indicator on the boom will light up green (available), orange (on a call), or red (do not disturb) in correspondence with the universally adopted UC colors.

The UC ProSet LUX also improves upon its predecessor's innovative combination of sound quality, durability, reliability and comfort. With the addition of the plug-and-play USB interface and true hi-fi stereo sound, the UC ProSet LUX is designed to maximize the efficiencies for both Unified Communications (News - Alert) and call center and office applications.

The UC ProSet LUX was designed specifically with Unified Communications in mind. In addition to its superior 95 percent noise-canceling technology and stereo (two speakers) and monaural (one speaker) style options for a completely customized setup, the UC ProSet LUX offers:

  • Plug-and-play USB interface for ease of use without additional software or drivers;
  • Hi-fi audio with digital signal processing for clearer conversations and audiophile-quality sound;
  • LED presence indicator located on the microphone boom announces UC status visually by an illuminated status indicator on the boom of the headset;
  • Lightweight, comfortable design with real-world durability is easy to wear, all day;
  • Inline control of volume, mute and on/off hook.

"VXi is committed to continually provide our Unified Communications customers the next level of excellence," said Mike Ferguson, president and CEO of VXi Corporation. "We've done just that with the UC ProSet LUX. With its superior performance, ease of use and durability customers expect from VXi, there is no other headset like it on the market today."

The UC ProSet LUX was officially launched at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show, January 8-11 in Las Vegas. Like all VXi products, the UC ProSet LUX is backed by a two-year warranty.
