New York, New York, Jan 02, 2013 (eTeligis.com via COMTEX) United Rentals Inc. (NYSE: URI), an equipment rental company offering approximately 3,000 classes of equipment for rent to customers, is soaring in mid-day trading today, extending its gains from the previous trading session.


URI had finished 6.55% higher in trading on Monday. The stock is currently trading 4.77% higher at $47.69 on volume of 1.33 million, which is below the daily average volume of 1.89 million. URI rose sharply on Monday after struggling last week. URI has broken through $45 resistance level as a result of the two-day rally. This is a bullish signal. Technical indicators for URI point to further gains.
