According to a recent report published by Infonetics Research, findings revealed that the current economic conditions around the world are actually helping companies increasingly realize the importance associated with leveraging unified communications, an array of solutions that can significantly cut costs while ramping up productivity and efficiency amongst any workforce. On September 6th, Avatier Corp, a provider of identity access management software announced the amalgamation of its Identity Enforcer user provisioning module with Microsoft Lync 2010. The merging of the two technologies allows Identity Enforcer to automate Microsoft Lync user provisioning and de-provisioning of Active Directory accounts, an act that minimizes risk while boosting workflow.



Whaleback Managed Services is a provider of cloud-based managed unified communications services for small and medium-sized enterprises. Its end-to-end, business-class voice services enhance productivity and reduce operational and capital expenses by offering flexible, feature-rich VoIP calling packages, proactive, centralized monitoring and management, and high-touch customer service.



Business research & consulting firm Frost & Sullivan issued its latest report, stating that the Australian Unified Communications Market will grow 8.6 percent from 2011 to 2018. The report states that the UC market is expected to be worth $1 billion by 2016, with government sectors and Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) accounting for almost 40 percent of the profit.
