Ah, so many acronyms and so little time! Unified communications (UC) is a set of solutions that are significantly beneficial to end users and administrators alike and includes e-mail, voicemail, voice conferencing, desk phones, mobile phones, soft phones, IM, fax, E911 notification and call recording capabilities. Cloud telephony and media platform provider, Aculab Cloud, has been chosen to address the requirements of Redwood City, California based Meet.fm. Meet.fm is a cloud service that improves the efficiency of businesses by combining full-featured online file sharing, Web meetings and audio conferencing.



It goes without saying that there are many uses for videoconferencing. Yet another use that's been seeing more attention lately has been has been in legal and penal institutions in India, seen in the video conferencing facility between the District Courts complex and the Burail Jail.



Are you an employee, customer, or fan of Nuvixa? Not anymore - Nuvixa, is out, Personify is in. Don't misunderstand, though, there hasn't been a takeover, change in business or anything of the sort. The company has simply changed its name.
